About Us
Our Mission to protect and mobilise resources to improve the quality life for all children by creating a global constituency of local and international people willing to pool together time,resources and facilities for those unfortunate enough not to afford. We work with Government, the coroporate and individuals phylanthropoists.
True Africa is an agency working to advance public school reform in low-income communities across our country. True Africa believes an active, vocal constituency is the key to ensuring that every child, in every community, benefits from a quality public education.
True Africa and its members are building public demand and mobilising resources for quality public education on behalf of children in Africa. True Africa has expanded its work internationally to include women and girls in difficult circumstances. Our Guiding Principles
As a charity, we have some guiding principles. Here are some of our principles;
Public education is fundamental to a democratic, civil, prosperous society.
Education is critical institution for breaking the cycle of poverty and redressing social inequities.
Education reform must be systemic, affordable and universal to be effective.
Public engagement in development decision making is essential.
Community support through information and resorce allocation should be priority.
Government, NGOs, individuals, corporate should mobilise dequate resources to support the success of public education.
We believe that all humans are the same and deserve the same treatment irrespective of creed, religion, colour, gener, age or physical conditions.
We believe that children and those under difficult circumstances must be supported to not only make choices but make informed choices.

Highlights of Our Achievements
We are setting up independent community-based programmes for school droputs.
We are working with other stakeholders in curbbing child prostitutions and sex tourism by working with Children's Department and Tour operators.
We are mobilising travel agencies, tour operators, child protection agencies and legal activitists in Idenify and recording profiles (including DNA) of known paedophiles and rapists, especially those doing these crimes away from their countries because of legal restrictions.
Another closely related project that we are working on is helping women and children with legal advise on inheritance and marital property management.
Most recentlty, we have joined hands with other interested paties in reducing cultural practices that hinder women and the girl-child development.
